Real Estate Photos: Show Some Green

In Minnesota our homes sit on a fairly bleak landscape from November through March.  If your home is listed and photographed during this time of the year, chances are your photographs are not showing off your home at it's best.  This doesn't mean that you should take your home off the market for over half of the year.  It just means that you need to be smart about the way your home is viewed on-line, where most people start their search.

We recommend and offer a professional photography session for your home whenever you list with us.  And if you happen to list during the cold winter months our photographers will showcase your home to the best of their abilities.  However, you can be sure that as soon as a hint of green shows up outside we will send them back out to reshoot the outside of your home.  It can make all the difference in the world.  Don't believe us?  Just take a look at some of the homes we've listed during the winter months and then the reshoot of the home once greener pastures settled in.

Even going from a little greenery to full blown summer makes a big impact as seen below.

Even if you have just listed your home and you are months away from being able to take a photo with some greenery in it, at the very least include a few snapshots of your home while everything is in full bloom.  Help your buyers picture your home in it's ideal setting and you'll be slapping up the sold sign before you know it.
