Alternatives To Stainless Steel

Stainless Steel is undoubtedly the favorite appliance finish in kitchens across America.  But many are finding that those shiny surfaces tend to become easily fingerprinted and that shine is hard to maintain.  Is there a day coming when stainless steel appliances may go the way of the avocado green refrigerator?

If that day is coming, then there are some beautiful stand-ins waiting in the wings.

Viking Range Corp.

With 24 color options to choose from, Viking Range Corp. has plenty to choose from if you want to depart form the norm.  From standards red, cobalt blue, and black, to more obscure colors like plum, sea grass, and Dijon, they are sure to have something that will fit your kitchen.  They also offer a graphite gray which is a more subtle departure from stainless.

Bosch

Although not yet offered in the United States, German-made Bosch is offering an array of bright and edgy appliances. Below is a line-up of some of the refrigerators that they offer.

Back to White?

First there was grandma's white stove, then mom upgraded to stainless steel, so now you're moving on to....white again?  If GE or Whirlpool have anything to say about it you will.  But this white isn't your grandma's white.  With sleek and modern styling, these white appliances would look good in anyone's homes.
