The trend in flooring for the past few years has been wood flooring. And yes, wood floors have many advantages. They are beautiful, they help tremendously those who suffer from indoor air allergies, they are a natural product (unless you're going with laminate wood look-alike flooring), and they rise above the trends keeping their value for years to come.
But sometimes, you just want to feel a soft, plushy carpet beneath your feet. Or you want to add a big visual impact to your floors that you just can't get with wood floors. The TV room and bedrooms seem to be the most logical choice for carpeting, but small spaces where you can be a bit more creative are great for carpeting, too. Think long hallways, a den or a library. Carpeting has come a long way from the nylon looking burgundy carpeting you had when you were a kid. Todays carpets come with a lot of style. So with that in mind, and for all you who love carpet, we've put together a great gallery of carpeting options.
Your floor can be a stylish focal point with amazing carpeting. But please remember, never, and I mean never, carpet your kitchen or bathrooms. That's just gross. Until next time...
